Jojo Smiley 2022, OF, R/R, 6-1/210, Clermont, FL
Physically mature; very athletic. Was voted best prospect at the event. Jojo can run, hit and throw. Plus runner; plus bat speed. Has the fastest 60-yard at the event with a time of 6.67. Above average runner that covers a lot of ground in outfield. Decent arm with carry – 84 mph from right field to 3B. Present big-time pop on pull side. Had a good BP with consistent hard contact. Jojo produced a 94 MPH exit velocity off the tee.
Diego Aponte 2022, 1B/OF, L/L, 6-2/195, Bayamon, PR
Good size with room to add strength. Left-handed hitter can hit; great feel for swing all field. Quick hands and uses lower half well at the plate. Generates 89 mph exit velocity off tee. Solid defender around the bag at 1B.
Gavin Hause 2022, 2B/SS, R/R, 5-10/165, Cape Coral, FL
Fluid movements and good hands. Showed good arm with carry; makes throws on a line to first. Has present gap-to-gap pop and good bat speed. Gavin is a high-energy player; plays game with passion. Can play multiple infield positions. Another tool in his game is speed – Gavin ran a 6.9 60-yard time.
Jesse Downey 2022, C, R/R, 6-1/190, Jupiter, FL
Solid build, present strength, quick and agile behind the plate. Good arm strength (76 mph) with quick hands and smooth transfer – all throws around 2.0 sec. Offensively, he uses all field in the BP and posted exit velocity of 86 MPH from the tee.
Sean Kaelber 2022, 1B/3B, R/R, 6-5/230, Southwest Ranches, FL
Physical right-handed hitter with present pull side pop. Big time power. His swing generated an impressive 97 mph exit velocity off a tee. Has good hands and footwork for his size; better actions than body suggests.
Garret Caropresso 2022, LHP, R/L, 6-2/173, Mount Dora, FL
Tall lanky build with clean arm action. FB runs between 81-83 with late action. Velo will go up when he adds strength.
Matthew Retamoza 2022, 3B/RHP, R/R, 5-11/175, Ocala, FL
Good frame with room to get bigger. Very good versatile player. Showed good arm strength and good defensive action at 3B. Ball jump off his bat with short and compact swing. Matthew posted an exit velocity of 85 MPH off the tee and ran a 7.0 60-yard time. On the mound was consistently 80-83 mph, touching 84. He looked very polished and smooth.
Osmin Melendez 2022, SS, S/R, 6-2/162, Orlando, FL
Good athleticism with room for added physical projection. Looked good in all aspects of the game. Ran 6.8 at 60-yard; hit well in BP; showed elite defense at SS. In game, he stayed inside the ball very well and showed good backside approach; swing is pretty good.
Marcello Biondi 2022, RHP, R/R, 6-4/215, Doral, FL
Large frame but well-proportioned. Low-3/4 arm slot. Touched 85 mph with late life on his FB during game. Also showed good spin on CB. Competes well in the strike zone.
Elijah Silver 2022, OF/1B, R/R, 6-5/225, Mount Dora, FL
Solid build; XL frame with a well-proportioned body. Silver can hit; had consistent hard contacts and good power in BP. Moves well in outfield but needs some work on arm strength. Fits better at 1B.
Angel Alvarado 2022, SS/2B, S/R, 5-8/160, Oviedo, FL
Solid build with room to add strength. Smooth hands and actions at up-the-middle position. Throws well from position at 82 mph and accurate. Showed good bat to ball skills.
Sean Shelly 2022, 1B/RHP, R/R, 6-3/204, Clearwater, FL
Mature frame for game with room to add strength. Showed power in BP and good bat speed. Exit velocity was 90 mph off the tee. Easy actions at IB; quickness and size will play well at 1B. On the mound showed a good fastball that touched 85 mph with some late life. Very interesting prospect.
Keahi Louderback 2022, RHP/3B, R/R, 6-0/170, Clermont, FL
Athletic, fields position well, solid mound presence. Effective arm with good command on his pitches. He was up to 83 mph with the fastball and his curveball can show depth and tight rotation.
Savian Loor 2022, RHP/OF, R/R, 5-11/175, Longwood, FL
Two-way player. Arm played well from the outfield, showed carry at 85 mph from right field to 3B. On the mound, FB keeps around the zone and was consistently 82-84 mph with a high of 87. His 72-73 mph breaking ball showed moderate depth. High 3/4 arm slot.
Coaches Notes - Underclass
Ben Barrow 2023, C/OF, R/R, 6-1//185, Jacksonville, FL
Plus catching and throwing skills. Smooth transfer and gets the ball out quickly -1.86, 1.87 and 1.96 pop times. Present bat speed and pop. Shows college level bat to ball skills. Took violent swings in game trying to do damage.
John Martinez 2023, SS, R/R, 5-10/180, Orlando, FL
Lean and athletic body. Martinez showed soft hands, loose transfer, and quick arm. Has good baseball awareness with easy, fluid actions in the field; is on time in every pitch at SS. Good energy. At the plate, has a smooth swing and good bat speed. Solid contact hitter.
Angelo Prieto 2023, OF, R/R, 6-1/185, Hialeah, FL
Athletic outfielder. Good defender in outfield; good arm with carry, accurate as well. In the outfield Prieto had the strongest arm at 88 mph and ran a 6.9 second 60-yard dash. Present pull side pop, good swing, quick hands thru the zone. His exit velocity was 95 off the tee. One of the best hitters in his age group.
Anthony Schatz 2023, LHP, L/L, 6-0/160, Winter Haven, FL
High three-quarters slot; good mound presence. Schatz is a projectable LHP who ran his fastball up to 85 mph with late life and some sink. Curveball can get loopy at times but showed ability to throw it for strikes. Has potential to add velo. Would work in developing a CH.
Elvin Garcia 2024, 2B/SS, S/R, 6-0/155, Dominican Republic
Switch hitting middle infielder with plus range and good arm. Tons of projection; solid defensive actions. Currently hits better from the left side. Ran a 6.9 60-yard time. Projects really well; a player to follow.
Tyrell Williams 2023, RHP/SS, R/R, 6-3/170, Orlando, FL
Tall and lanky righty with a high-3/4 arm slot. Short and whippy arm action; arm works pretty well. On the mound pitches with a quick tempo and good command. His fastball topped out at 83 mph. Will add velocity as he gets stronger.
Dominic Rivara 2023, C, R/R, 6-3/210, Lake Worth, FL
Great size; solidly built. Good defender behind the plate; puts the ball right to the base in throws. Quick transfer and release – his best pop times was 1.96. Shows good bat contact and potential for power.
Francisco Feliciano 2024, SS/2B, R/R, 5-8/125, Caguas, PR
Works with good actions, rhythm and pace. Showed plus-range in both directions and soft hands; quick transfers to throwing hand and quick release. Strength will come with growth.
Hunter Key 2023, LHP/1B, L/L, 5-11/165, Orlando, FL
Swings the bat with aggression. Solid defensively at 1B; looks comfortable fielding the ball and taking throws. On the mound Hunter looks smooth and efficient; his FB was in the low-80’s (80-82 mph) with late life. Good looking player with great instinct.
Justin Lebron 2023, SS/2B/OF, R/R, 5-10/135, Miramar, FL
Athletic build; loose, agile body; plenty of room to add weight. Lebron is a good athlete who moves around well; is an advanced defender with solid arm for age in the outfield, as well as infield. Had a strong arm from the outfield at 87 mph. Defensively, he showed smooth actions at SS and his quick arm produced 81 mph velocity across the diamond. In BP Justin had hard contact and posted an exit velocity of 86 MPH off the tee.
Jake Padro 2023, OF, R/R, 6-0/190, Hialeah, FL
Strong kid, well-proportioned. Jake showed good approach at the plate; drove the ball to the pull side of the field showing gap power. He had an exit velocity of 84 MPH off the tee. Also showed a strong arm from the outfield throwing 85 mph with good carry.
Samuel Wilsky 2023, RHP, R/R, 6-3/155, Debary, FL
Tall and wiry; athletic. Room to add size and strength. Athletic delivery, fluid, repeats consistently on the mound. His fastball is a live one that finishes with some late life, topping at 85 mph.
Tyler Marczak 2023, MIF/RHP, L/R, 6-0/140, Orlando, FL
Lean, athletic body. Loose arm on the mound; arm worked well from high 3/4 slot with fastball at 78-82 mph. An interesting prospect with solid mound presence, good rhythm and pitching tempo. As a position player, he looked most comfortable at 2B, displaying good range in both directions – 79 mph arm velo fits better at 2B. Strength gains needed physically to help overall game.
