PrimeTime FAQs: Common Questions
PrimeTime events are open to eligible players who meet the age, graduation year, position and other requirements established for each individual event. Availability may also be limited by registration capacity. Please review the specific event page for eligibility and registration details.
Each PrimeTime event has its own schedule, which may vary by venue, number of participants and event format. Registered players will receive detailed event information and schedules by email and through the event website before the event.
Yes. Participating college coaches and recruiting representatives receive player information and data collected through the PrimeTime event. This includes player profiles, graduation year, positions, height, weight, school, hometown, academic information when provided, and performance data collected during the event.
Performance data includes 60-yard dash times, exit velocity, pitching velocity, pitching spin rates, catcher pop times, arm velocity and other measurable results applicable to each player’s position.
Coaches also receive access to player video, reports and other event materials when included with the player’s registration or made available through the event.
Player information is provided to participating college coaches to assist with their evaluation and recruiting efforts.
Players should bring their own baseball equipment, including:
- Glove
- Bat
- Batting helmet
- Catcher’s gear, when applicable
- Cleats
- Turf/running shoes
- Baseball bag
- Appropriate baseball clothing/uniform
- Personal water bottle or cooler
- Food and snacks
- Towels and any other personal equipment needed to participate
PrimeTime provides a numbered performance shirt for participating players. Hats/caps may also be provided depending on the specific event.
Players should review the event-specific information provided before attending for any additional equipment or items they may need.
PrimeTime invites college coaches and recruiting representatives who have expressed interest in evaluating players and identifying potential recruiting opportunities. Coach participation varies by event and program.
PrimeTime makes every effort to maintain the college coaching staff and programs announced for each event. When PrimeTime lists a college or university as a participating program, it is because we have communicated directly with a representative of that institution regarding the event and their participation.
If a confirmed college coach or recruiting representative becomes unavailable, PrimeTime will make reasonable efforts to identify a replacement coach or recruiting representative from the same program or another college program. However, individual coach attendance is subject to change due to institutional, scheduling or other circumstances beyond our control.
The participation of a college program does not guarantee that every player will be evaluated, contacted or recruited by that program. College coaches make their own recruiting decisions based on their evaluation of players and their program needs.
PrimeTime events may include programs from NCAA Division I, Division II and Division III, as well as NAIA, JUCO, NCCAA and other college baseball programs. The participating colleges vary by event.

No. PrimeTime provides an opportunity for exposure and evaluation, but no showcase can guarantee a scholarship, roster spot, recruiting offer or admission to a college. Recruiting decisions are made independently by each college program.

Players are responsible for bringing their own water and hydration supplies. We recommend bringing a personal cooler and refillable water bottle. Players should maintain adequate hydration throughout the event, especially during outdoor activities and games.
Players are responsible for bringing their own meals and snacks. We recommend bringing enough food for the duration of the event, particularly when participating in a full-day schedule.
Yes. PrimeTime assigns a designated medical or first-aid support person to each event. Depending on the event and venue, this may be a certified first-aid provider, athletic trainer, physical therapist, sports therapist or another qualified professional.
The designated support person is available throughout the event to provide first aid, assist with injuries or medical concerns, and help coordinate an appropriate response when necessary.
If a serious injury, illness or medical emergency occurs, PrimeTime will contact emergency medical services when necessary and assist with the response until emergency personnel arrive.
Players, coaches, parents and spectators should immediately notify the designated medical support person or PrimeTime event staff if an injury, illness or medical concern occurs.
PrimeTime’s on-site first-aid support is not a substitute for emergency medical services, a physician or a participant’s personal medical provider.
For participants who purchase a video and/or evaluation report, delivery information and estimated turnaround times will be provided for the specific event. In general, these materials are delivered after the event once the video and evaluation process has been completed.
