If you need to find a college where you can continue your baseball career, there will be NCAA, JUCO and JUCO colleges at the Unsigned Summer Showcase in Clearwater. It’s open to uncommitted high school players, college transfers, and student-athletes who already graduated and still looking for a college.

COVID-19 – POSTPONE OR CANCEL: In the event a showcase or camp is cancelled or postpone due to COVID-19 or some other unforeseen event, the showcase or camp will be rescheduled as soon as possible, and PT will announce the make-up day to the players registered. We do not offer refunds if the event is rescheduled, just a future showcase/camp credit if you cannot be in the make-up day and request to cancel.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Until capacity of 80 players is reached.
BAT TYPE: Wood or Metal Bat.
WHAT TO BRING: Each Player must bring his own baseball equipment. Wear molded cleats or turfs and bring gloves, bats, helmets and batting gloves. Catchers, please bring your own equipment. Players are responsible for all of their own baseball gear including, glove, bat, batting gloves, etc.
MEALS: Lunch will NOT be provided for players taking part in the event.
ACCOMMODATIONS: Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own accommodations.
MERCHANDISE: Some Merchandise will be available for purchase at this event.

History
Jack Russell Memorial Stadium opened as Jack Russell Stadium in 1955. It had a capacity of 4,744 when it opened; in 2003 seating capacity was 6,942 people. It was the spring training home of the Philadelphia Phillies Major League Baseball team from 1955 through 2003. In 2004, the Philadelphia Phillies moved to Bright House Networks Field, 4 miles to the east.
Since 2017, it has been home to the St. Petersburg College baseball team. In 2019 it served as the temporary home field of the Dunedin Blue Jays.

Cancellations
If you register your child for an event and they do not attend, you will not receive a credit.
To cancel a registration, you must send an email to [email protected] with the participant name and event confirmation number. Your registration is not cancelled until you receive an emailed confirmation from our office stating that the cancellation has been processed.
If an event is cancelled, a full credit will be given. PT Events cannot be held responsible for any change or cancellation charges required by airlines, travel agencies, or other institutions.
PT Events will make every effort to ensure the best possible showcase when weather interferes. PT, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to adjust the schedule of the event, push back the schedule or postpone the event in case of inclement weather. The event remains fully non-refundable in the case of inclement weather. Any change in itinerary will be focused around the safety of all participants and staff.

Every attempt will be made to update cancellations on the website. However, weather conditions can change rapidly and all teams and/or players should be prepared to play as soon as fields are playable. We will make every attempt to play all games, but will not jeopardize the safety of players, coaches and spectators.
